Our fixed facility network is integral to our operations, providing the operational expertise and management capacity to support key business initiatives. 

Opportunities in fixed facilities represent the lowest-risk, highest-return investments for Newalta.  These are primarily focused on productivity and efficiency improvements in our existing operations and services.

Future opportunities are expected to include:

• Adding satellite facilities, new disposal wells and landfills in Western Canada
• Investing in numerous productivity improvements, including adding centrifugation capacity, across the facility network
• Enhancing services in Atlantic Canada to capitalize on increased oil and gas activity in the region
