Global Cleantech Cluster Award
Newalta was named a Top 10 global company and "Best of Waste" category winner for 2011 by the Global Cleantech association. We were selected for our use of technology to minimize industrial waste and maximize product recovery. A pool of 4,000 firms from around the world competed and cleantech investors chose the winners.

Newalta received an Award of Excellence for corporate reporting at the Chartered Accountants of Canada's annual awards in 2012. Members of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants led the judging for the awards. We ranked highest in our sector for Life Sciences and Technology.
