Summer Student Work Experience

Newalta is committed to providing meaningful work experience opportunities for students to enhance their skills and increase their knowledge of our industry. Newalta's student work experience program is designed for those who are currently enrolled into a program at a post-secondary institution.

We are looking for students who share the same characteristics that drive our employees to succeed, people who are:

Engaged in their work experience and learning

Interested in creating solutions that deliver environmental sustainability and reduce waste
Working and creating a safe work environment
Understand the importance of customer service

We encourage students from various post secondary disciplines to apply (e.g. Accounting, Building Services/security, Communications, Engineering, Environmental Health and Safety, Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology). We do our best to match our students with work experiences corresponding to their area of study.
